Next Academy is focused on empowering youth to become active and engaged members of their communities through community planning, decision-making, and action. By involving young people in these processes, Next Academy is helping to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility in the community and encouraging the next generation to take an active role in shaping their own future. HOW WE HELP YOUTH.

Through our hands-on courses, we assist youth gain the knowledge and enhance the required skills by which they can work on their community initiatives, and be hired by community nonprofit organizations, and non-governmental organizations. In our experiential learning environment, we support and guide youth to be :

We Train youth to be evaluators by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to participate in the evaluation process. This can include training on how to collect and analyze data, as well as how to use evaluation tools and techniques.

We Provide youth with opportunities for leadership and personal growth.  We offer them the platforms to take on leadership roles within Next Academy and other partner organizations and communities. Along the way, we provide the youths the training and support to help them develop their leadership skills and confidence.

We offer youth hands-on programmes where they can gain the skills they need to carry out meaningful work within the sector of civil society organizations. We have designed different internship programmes which provide them with the opportunity to learn about a number of different aspects of civil society organizations and how they operate and how they can work with and for them.
